Black Veil Brides – “Heart Of Fire”: Hard Rock Daddy Review

Black Veil Brides Heart Of Fire

Black Veil Brides are back with a vengeance with “Heart Of Fire,” the first single off of their upcoming self-titled album.  It’s never easy to follow-up an album like Wretched & Divine: The Story of the Wild Ones, because the bar has been set incredibly high, but “Heart Of Fire” shows that BVB is clearly up to the task.

Known for their stance against bullying, it is appropriate that BVB’s latest album will be released during National Bullying Prevention Month (10/28/14).  Hard Rock Daddy will be doing more features with the band as part of the site’s month-long, anti-bullying campaign.

“Heart Of Fire” is another song of hope and defiance that should appeal to all hard rock music fans, particularly those who feel cast aside in some form or fashion.  It has an edgier, more intense sound than the band’s epic hit, “In The End,” but it is still incredibly melodic in its own right, and features shredding that rivals the most renowned dual-guitar attacks of yesteryear.

With “Hearts Of Fire,” Black Veil Brides have once again captured everything that made 80s heavy metal extraordinary, and blended it with a modern twist that gives their music a timeless quality.

A 37-city headline tour (Black Mass 2014) in support of their eponymous album kicks off in the U.S. on October 21st in Niagara Falls, NY.  For tour dates and album pre-order information, check out www.BlackVeilBrides.net.
